Has anybody got a copy of the documentation for coders that used to be on the winamp site?.

I looked at it once a while ago, and there was loads there, how to write plugins, how to remote control winamp, code examples etc. Everything you ever needed to know by the look of it.
And now there is almost nothing, except a rather small sdk with a few examples of code with almost no instructions or comments. :-(

So, anyone got a copy of the developer web site when it was good?

Hi Iain,

read the winamp developer forum. There is a link to the updated winamp 5 sdk and i saw a external source for the old 2.9X SDK.

A example plugins source is there too (gen_empty.dll).

And join the developers Mailinglist. Not much traffic, only 3 or 4 Mails / week but helpfull.

If you can't find all this stuff i have parts of the SDK and the example plugin source.
I've tried to write a general plugin in the past to manage some stuff but than i found do_something from oddsock and stop developing my crap :D

The plugin is a devc++ project http://www.bloodshed.net/dev/devcpp.html but you can also use ms vc++ or whatever. I like the devc++ ide cause it's not so much oversized for beginners.

Ok bye
