Internet Explorer, you're fired.

That should have been said a long time ago. After Microsoft cemented a monopoly of the Web-browser market, it let Internet Explorer go stale, parceling out ho-hum updates that neglected vulnerabilities routinely exploited by hostile Web sites. Not until August's Windows XP Service Pack 2 update did (some) users get any real relief.

Link doesn't work.
It takes you to the login page. Using BugMeNot or even inventing a new login just pops up an incorrect warning about bookmarks being disabled in Mozilla, and takes me back to the same login page. Duff site logins are probably the best reason for cutting and pasting entire articles rather than linking to them.

Yes it seems free registration is required to view this article. I must have a cookie enable in my browser for this site.

The "incorrect warning about bookmarks being disabled in Mozilla" is most likely problem with your browser. I had no isssues here using another PC with Mozilla.

I just finished reading that article. I used the bugmenot account to read it and had no trouble. I'm using the latest Firefox 1.0.

Thanks for the update. I was also using the new 1.0 release. I'll be more carefull in the future about posting to sites that require registration. I don't like to register anywhere just to read a story (thanks to bug me not).
And even though it's a copyright gray area I may begin pasting articles.
