Hi Im sort of new here as I had some probs registering to the forums.

1st off I would like to say what a really cool program Streamer is and 2nd I want to tell you I have been through almost everything there is to broadcasting with this software....

I am running a station for a friends gaming community and we want to do talk back radio during our show sometimes via messenger, but i noticed when 3 people jumped on it was almost impossible to start a voice chat over messenger. I also see there is a setting in streamer under bandwidth use>P2P "100%" but every time i set it to 80 and press ok it resets to 99%.

1: is this normal?
2: can I force it to 80% in some way?
3: If i set my upload bandwidth to 128kbs upload on a 256kbs connection does this achieve my goal in the same manner.
4: If not is there any otherway to achieve what I need here like some netlimiter proggy or would that doom my radio station....

I have a 1500/256 kbs adsl connection and in real terms i would and can achieve 156kBs down and around 24kBs upload that is bytes not bits....

You can only set the p2p setting to something other than 100 if you also set the unicast to some percentage. If you don't want to unicast, but still want to limit the bandwidth used by Streamer, then as you guessed, set your upload bandwidth to a lower value. Do keep in mind that almost all streams need about a 12% overhead to be reliable.

Um another thing I would like to ask, That widget thingy is great but I want to remove the elipse shaped button or change it.

I've set the size to 0 on my implementations of it but Iain may be able to tell you how to actually change the graphic used.
