I don't know the opticodec URL. A encoder usually doesn't listen to incomming connection it makes a outgoing connection to the streamserver.
What i meant was this:
opticodec encoder --> shoutcast server --> streamerp2p
You know your shoutcast stream URL so you can tune streamer to shoutcast.
In edcast or shoutcast dsp you can setup multiple streams / bitrates maybe your opticodec encoder can do the same. I don't know this software.
Thanks for the suggestion. I thought about looping my own feed (as you suggested) from the SHOUTcast server, but I figured that that would be a waste of bandwidth, something that could be avoided if I can tap Streamer directly to the encoder.
Currently I stream P2P a WMA audio since Windows Media Encoder is capable to listen to incoming connections. In both Streamer v2.06b P2P and SopCast P2P I relay my computer's loopback address on the encoder's TCP Audio Port "http://127.0.0.1:8785/". I wish I could do the same also with Opticodec AAC+ Encoder.
So due to this "limitation", essentially my Peercasting is WMA and Unicasting to my SOUTcast server in AAC+.
