Does this have anything to do with one or two of my listeners reporting trouble connecting? Like 45 minutes to get my stream going?
(I myself have noticed it taking a bit, say 15 seconds to locate my stream which is on the same LAN.)
And it's not everytime, so I'm not sure... I just told then that the network needed time to work itself out.
OR is it as I just discovered, that my updated version of streamer kept saying it needed a proxy/firewall when I have set up port forwarding... As an experiment, I have locked the detection off and set firewall to 'no'. Could this, as I suspect, make it easier for people to connect to my stream? Seems like i had proxy locked to 'no' before, but can't remember... not something I wrote down.
I know just enough about LANs/NATs?port forwarding to occasionally get lucky.
Thanks,
Kevin
