NullSoft has just released its latest version of winamp 5.04. It has been stated by NullSoft that this release will be around for a while.
AOL ( Parent company of NullSoft ) in its infinite wisdom has cut down the NullSoft company staff to absolute bare minimum.
Since StreamerP2P has its own YP directory, any media player with appropriate codec support can be used. VLC is a perfect example.
Do Not rely on Winamp always being a usable platform. Its future depends on the financial corporate greed of AOL.
