Hi,
for example the indicator for station kmeat:
Station ID: 3bceddb7
Link: http://www.streamerp2p.com/plates.php?id=3bceddb7 <img src="http://www.streamerp2p.com/plates.php?id=3bceddb7">

Now for test i manipulate the station id:
Link: http://www.streamerp2p.com/plates.php?id=3bceddb7aa <img src="http://www.streamerp2p.com/plates.php?id=3bceddb7aa">

You see it should work. You can embed the image on your page using normal html (change id to your station id)
Code:
<img src="http://www.streamerp2p.com/plates.php?id=3bceddb7">

bye

I hate to be so blunt Dragon, but maybe you should try clicking SEARCH at the top of the main forum page and try a search for the word mic. I just did it and found several things that looked like they might be good and work fine for you. Everyone's setup is different however and we don't have the time to be spending with each and every setup.

If they don't work, then how do you explain this?

http://www.kmeat.net/status.html

THEY WORK FINE!! 8)

Incidentally when I read this message, you were also not listed on the website. Those are from the same database. If you are listed in the latter, the former graphic will change accordingly.

SOrry this should have been in a different topic about how to use a microphone.. My apologies.

Now that I have gone and looked at the database, I notice that you haven't shown up at all on the station list at Streamerp2p.com in 4 days 4 hours 18 mminutes and 20 seconds as of this poll. :) My guess would be is that you didn't read the part in the website that mentions the maximum sizes that you graphic file should be and therefore have caused your listing to fail to be added to the site. This issue is also covered in the forums.

If you don't list as being online, there's no way my website can give you and online graphic either with the plates.php script.

You are a great poster Dragon and I think you could be very helpful here if you would take a few to read the material that's presented on the website thoroughly. Search the forum for anything you don't understand there and you'll likely find an explanation of that as well.

Thank you K.
I know that I ask alot of questions and yes I do fail to read things all the way through ! I will do more reading for sure .. But while I'm here rite now, I just want to understand what you just told me .. Are you saying that my (banner) I'm assuming that's what you meant by "grafic size" is to big ? Or do you mean my "grafics card" You said also that I have not showed up on your list.. and I have been broadcasting for days now with no problems to my listiners.. It's just been the problems that I have talked about... I guess this could all be for that reason of my "grafic size" but I'm not sure what you mean there, seems almost like your saying that I'm not even showing up as a user/broadcaster ?

Thank you .. Dragon (Dragon Radio)

Hi DragonLord721,
nobody want's to blame you cause you have questions. The most questions are asked 100 times and already answered here in forum. The Forum has a search function. If you need a info try to find it first and if you can't find anything or you can't understand it feel free to ask us 8)

Now again:
http://www.streamerp2p.com/forum/viewto ... 4&start=15
There is what you need.
Quote:
Make sure your banner is on a server that doesn't use hostlinking to obtain the graphic.
Make sure that you don't use spaces in the filename for the graphic.
Make sure the filename is all lower case.
Make sure it fits in the parameters of 150x75 pix and is no larger than 25kB in file size.

So please use a short name, all lowercase, without underscores, spaces, gif
like: banner.gif

You can try to broadcast without a station banner to see if your station is listed at www.streamerp2p.com
Ok now it's your turn :D

bye

It worked fine

Thank you all very much ...now I will also READ up on the MIC thing ...lmao ....sometimes I guess i get lazy ...thanks again

:idea: Basic knowledge of php is recommended.

Hi,
if you add a
Code:
&t=text

or
Code:
&t=1

to your plates.php banner url you get a text output of your station status. The output is online or offline.
You can use this text based output of your station status to display a custom status image or just a plain text output.

A short php example:
Code:
   $myFile = "http://www.streamerp2p.com/plates.php?id=abc123456789def&t=text";
   $fh = fopen($myFile, 'r');
   $status = fgets($fh);
   fclose($fh);
   // Text output: (uncomment)
   //echo 'station is '.$status.'<br>';
   // Indicator image
   if ($status == 'online') {
      echo '<img src="online.gif">';
   } else {
      echo '<img src="offline.gif">';
   }

You have to modify the station id to match your own! And also the path to your online.gif / offline.gif images.

Same as above for the status.php output (it's just a 1 for online and 0 for offline):
Code:
   $myFile = "http://www.streamerp2p.com/status.php?id=abc123456789def";
   $fh = fopen($myFile, 'r');
   $status = fgets($fh);
   fclose($fh);
   // Indicator image
   if ($status == 1) {
      echo '<img src="online.gif">';
   } else {
      echo '<img src="offline.gif">';
   }

Code:
$myFile = "http://www.streamerp2p.com/status.php?id=myID";
   $fh = fopen($myFile, 'r');
   $status = fgets($fh);
   fclose($fh);
   // Indicator image
   if ($status == 1) {
      echo '<img src="onair.gif">';
   } else {
      echo '<img src="offair.gif">';
   }

Ich möchte ein anderes Bild für den Status onAir/offAir benutzen. Wenn ich den Code so übernehme, funktioniert es nicht. Was muss geändert werden?

sorry my bad english
I want to use a different picture of the status onAir/offAir. If I take the code so that it does not work. What needs to be changed?

Edit: ok ;o)

Code:
   <?php
   $myFile = "http://www.streamerp2p.com/plates.php?id=myID&t=text";
   $fh = fopen($myFile, 'r');
   $status = fgets($fh);
   fclose($fh);
   // Text output: (uncomment)
   //echo 'station is '.$status.'<br>';
   // Indicator image
   if ($status == 'online') {
      echo '<img src="onair.jpg">';
   } else {
      echo '<img src="offline.jpg">';
   }
   ?>

Ok? Erledigt / fixed? You have to change the parameter id=
Example Station Audio Addictz
Code:
http://www.streamerp2p.com/status.php?id=b5cc7324366f43a0
or
Code:
http://www.streamerp2p.com/plates.php?id=b5cc7324366f43a0&t=1
