Dear,
I suppose to have a problem to broadcast.

I've a adsl with router on usb configured with a Nat, my pc ipconfig is:
- Ethernet Card usb tiscali:

Suffisso DNS specifico connessione:
Indirizzo IP. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.100
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Gateway predefinito . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1

- Ethernet Card lan:

Suffisso DNS specifico connessione:
Indirizzo IP. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.0.1
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Gateway predefinito . . . . . . . :

My pc share the connection to a Lan.

Streamer in the advanced config shows:

IP's in Use: Real 84.220.27.50
Lan 192.168.1.100

Preferred Adapter/Lan
Auto is selected for both and as other possibilities give me 192.168.1.100 and 192.168.0.1

Need proxy is not cecked.

I think that listeners can't listen because streamer don't detect my real ip and use private ip, from outside listener Streamer says seeking source and from lan receive signal without any sound output.

if in Lan Ip (under Preferred Adapter) i select 192.168.0.1 other pc in the same lane can listen, otherwise always streamer is seeking source with out find it.

I've try with different configuration on router, virtual server to redirect port 8466 of pubblic ip on 8466 of private ip (192.168.1.100) and also with Trigger Port.

Please give me any helps.

Federico

I am having a difficulty listening to some stations. I believe the above listed post is by one of them.

I am using a wireless router with a public IP.

Is it possible to reconfigure or port forward in some way to hear this stream? I briefly discussed this with KMEAT before. Can you possibly offer a detailed process when you have some time?

Thanks

Hi,
- what's your station name?
- When do you usually broadcast? (please mention the timezone)
- Is your station listed on yp
- Are you able to listen to other stations

Your Tiscali USB Modem:
local IP: 192.168.1.100
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1 <-- local ip of your Modem

Ethernet Card lan:
192.168.0.1 different subnet, uninteresting at the moment.
share connection to a Lan.

Streamer in the advanced config shows:
IP's in Use: Real 84.220.27.50 <-- thats your outside ip
Lan 192.168.1.100

Check your internet ip here http://www.whatsmyip.net should be the same as streamer shows you.

need proxy is not checked. Cause you unchecked it or automatic?

Setup looks right. Please answer the questions above maybe this give us additional information to solve your problem.

share connection to a Lan.

Streamer in the advanced config shows:
IP's in Use: Real 84.220.27.50 <-- thats your outside ip yes, but is dinamic
Lan 192.168.1.100 this is router ip

Check your internet ip here http://www.whatsmyip.net should be the same as streamer shows you. yes already done

need proxy is not checked. Cause you unchecked it or automatic? yes, if I make the test proxy is needed, why? What does it means? what to do? no is no locked. How I have to configure the router?

couple of things..

1) you say you were forwarding ports.. was this for both TCP and UDP ? Streamer uses UDP.

2) If the "Need proxy" box is not ticked, try ticking it, shutting down and restarting. It is usually needed for clients that are behind NAT firewalls (as it appears you are).

Now is working well. Problem was Proxy not cecked in advanced configuration. I don't undertand how it works, but now is ok.

Thank you
Bye

Don't set a router to forward both UDP and TCP for a single port, because at least one type of router I have come across botches this and actually completely blocks UDP instead.

If i try to conect to my radio from a computer into my LAN, the streamer client says receiving signal and buffering 0% (not Play).

There are more problems with connecting to a stream on your local lan than anything here. Your stream is working fine to the outside world however as I just tuned and it was just fine. I posted this to your DJ chat but I didn't see you there. You must have clicked to leave there.

[11:43] <KMeat> KMeat testing. I am receiving both your signal and your audio. It's working just fine. I would have posted this in
[11:44] <KMeat> the forum with your thread but I don't have time to do that today.
[11:44] <KMeat> Please post a follow up there so people will know that that issue has been checked and resolved. THanks!

I have the same problem. I can not tune to my station on my LAN. I mean I tune in and it is registered as a listener on broadcasting streamer but on LAN I have : buffering 0 la0.00 so I can not listen.
Is there one real solution?
merci
