I just finished a new layout of the streamerp2p broadcaster 2.06.

Developers can download and use any of the layouts here >>StreamerC.exe
Just pop the StreamerC.exe into your Streamer directory and give it a try..

I Just made a lot more accessable with out having to strectch the GUI out, at the expense of being cluttered I tried to to keep it sensible and compact.

No program functions have been removed, hidden or added. All I did was move stuff around in the Tabs.

I thought it would be out by at least by a nibble.

Well everything is working, "now". LOL I changed the password in my streamer beta for a screen capture I wanted to post on here and forgot to change it back. I was seeing my station listed at streamer but no web picture coming up in listing. Im thinking its broke or I mixed the station website and img URL lables up and put them to the wrong input fields. And another buggy version of oddcast doesnt like trying to connect to a bad password and crashes. Only I reopen another Oddcast while the crashed version remains in memory.
Streamer doesnt want to close as the residue oddcast in memory wont unhook it.

I quick ctrl alt delete finding the oddcast in memory and terminating it, and test with streamers the internal encoder finaly set things straight. Fixing my Oddcast now, when streamer beta goes full im thinking of ditching oddcast at last. One program Oddcast causing another Streamer to behave incorrectly.

This version of streamer beta I edited is awesome.

Here is what I did. Some of it took me les than 5 minutes, like the little box around Iains about tab, and other things not so easy.



































As you can see I overhauled the whole layout in about 4 days.

I believe in creation and community, there is no competition just people working together to make good things.

Actually im not sure about IPv6 and I( will add some room in the real IP section. As for lan IPs there is plenty room there.

Due to popular demands I redited the nat, upnp may open higher port numbers than I allowed room for so I put it further down so upnp port return field data is writen beneath the esoteric box, now has plenty of room. And the Real IP's boxes can accomodate ipv6.



Better to be safe than sorry.

Ok I have redone the expert settings and labled the boxes more obviously like the original layout, fixed a gap in the network tab text I put in there by mistake, put one button up one point in the radio information tab, and reorganised the nat so there should be no text going under the esoteric box what-so-ever.

I cant see anything that needs to be done any more other than the the more difficult programing and bug fixes that the more experienced people do here.

If anything this work here should be gleened upon and hopefully some of my work may be included in the final version.

I hope any of this is helpfull and takes some of the more mundane but difficult to manage tasks off from the others work on this program and alas our final version makes a more expedience release date.

If none of what I have done here gets used, i care not. Im using it and it benefits me and makes setting up my station much easier..

good work. Maybe it's a inspiration and the next default layout will be like yours Looks a lot better and cleaned up.

Just check the buttons copy and paste into the next version. There is nothing broken in these asthetic code changes, If i made a lable or group box I properly Id-1 them as to not interfere. Not a single button box or lable overlaps the other. It is perfect in every way. I will let you be the judge.

Working with the layout really gives one an idea how advanced the rest of the programming must be. All the setting, controls and what not is rather awesome and I am impressed.

I am in love with streamer, its concept and the sense of liberty i get using it has no parallel.

Iain will no doubt digitally sign Streamer v2, so as for sharing this work might be a little rude in the face that people pay for this signature... If there is another beta version before the final I will grab it early and put my input onto it. I would not doubt the next release is too far along with the bug fixes to consider these changes. But I can do this and get it right.

Res hacker leaves all the guts of the programing alone and only effects the layouts, you can wreck things but. It's just like making a web site. My next move will be to start importing bmps to make it glossy.

OR maybe you guys could leme have a compiled copy of the version you have now and let me do my stuff. Then you can chose to use it or not. I just looked at this copy I have had running for 24hrs now and it's awesome.

In fact one could disable horizontal stretching on Streamer all together with this layout and only the NAT tab requires a vertical stretch..



Oops. I spoke too soon. bandwidth allocation I cut the bottom a letter p off "else upload is limited".

I said that, that would be the last upload. But I couldnt live with the stick of a p in the layout being over lapped by another label.
